FUND (CIF)
CIF is the main source of capital funding for all academies, free schools, studio schools, sixth form colleges and UTC’s in the country.The fund is available for building condition and expansion projects.The range of funding available for projects is £8,000 to £4 million.
Aura provides professional advice for schools applying for capital funding including: surveys, cost consultancy, programme management and project management.
A CIF application will require the following:
- Condition survey (RICS)
- Fire Risk Assessment (FRA), Health & Safety or DDA assessment (where required)
- Initial estimate for works
- Works programme, risk assessment and delivery methodology
Aura has raised funding across the UK under ACMF, Targeted Basic Needs, Demographic Growth Fund, Salix and Independent Specialist Providers Building Improvement Fund.
